Here's an update on where we are at on the 1 Million Dollars... luckily no one has attempted to give anything less than 1 Million Dollars! And... I haven't had to compromise my morals or values in any way thus far. In fact, it's as if no one has even read this blog! Hellooooo! Is this thing on?!
As it turns out I've been going about this money thing in the entirely wrong way. You must first know the origin of what you seek, before you start the journey. Without knowledge and direction, you are ignorant and realize you were lost all along. - Richard Peacock

Gary Kemp's New "Hand Signed" Books! (Spandau Ballet)
Martin Kemp, Gary's brother has also written his own autobiography called True
Anyone growing up in the 80's has heard at very least, a handful of Spandau Ballet's hits, from True to Gold, and my very favorite Through The Barricades.
Check out the live backstage footage on YouTube of the 2009 live at O2 DVD.
Lyric Book Co. had been promoting the new Gary Kemp Lyric Book by giving away 10 hand signed copies to those who were able to inspire them by tweeting their favorite Spandau Ballet Lyrics, I too gave it my best shot! Sorry... no prize this time. I had to break down and purchase both books for my personal library, they will retire right next to my hand signed copy of "To Cut A Long Story Short" by Tony Hadley (Lead Singer). Of which I had the pleasure of seeing live in person at the House of Blues in Los Angeles last year . I even got into the shot, just to the left of Tony's mic stand of this facebook photo.

Symbols of Love Author's Digital Edition "Excerpt"
Whispers
In the beginning… pure and unadulterated, as they travel thru…
Passed along, dancing from lip to lip, cheek to cheek, Ear to ear.
Beginning...much as a truth, yet, upon the journey,
Becoming something much, much more...
Deep into your darkened lie, we all shall fall.
Deceiving all whom shall be enticed by your welcoming hither...
Passing thru each memory, relentlessly mocking that which once was pure,
Each passing twist and turn, becoming further and further from as you once were...
Playfully taunting, teasing… displaying fractions,
Bits and pieces of your alluring attributes,
Yet never truly being seen for that which you are…
My God! You are magnificent! Such beautiful perfection!
As imagination and creativity awake in simultaneous splendor,
And take hand in hand, as a blissful marriage, until death do us part.
It is at this time which you choose to draw your victim closer, deeper,
Further yet into your grasp. For you are “the” master of deceit, a vision of perfection,
All shall ultimately fail to resist your enticing nature.
For is there an alternate choice?
All shall become mesmerized, by your seductive perfection, time and time again.
As you take full advantage, of unbridled creativity,
A vivid unapologetic lust for the unknown… The unseen, the unchartered venue…
Engulfing all whom may be tempted by you, for it is all whom you seek to deceive.
Destroying those whom lie prey to your relentlessly predatory nature.
Curiosity lies down, by your side, to consummate the marriage.

A letter to "Sarah McLachlan's School of Music"...
There is hope for a new world full of love for artistic expression! I can't imagine how much a program such as this must mean to these kids. The world truly is a cold and lonely place, and it seems to have grown much colder with every day that has passed these last few years. If everyone simply had this kind of an opportunity, they could truly benefit from the love and support of a program like this. I know how difficult it is to find yourself as an artist and muster up the strength to continue your artistic self expression, even when it seems no truly cares about your art form, and it feels as if it were a complete waste of time, I know how it truly feels to be beat so low that you can't find the energy to continue any further. So, all this being said... God bless you Sarah and everyone involved in this program. I know a program such as this would have been a dream come true to have available to me when I needed it most in earlier years gone by. It's extremely difficult to find a reason for art when at times there seem no reason to life itself... and it feels as if no one is listening anyway. - Richard Peacock

"Tyler Clementi" - Took his own life as a result of mistreatment by classmates
I know I wrote a bit in the past about Tyler Clementi and what a wonderfully talented young man he was. By now most everyone has heard his story, I thought this was a wonderful way to point out how fragile our feelings can be when we are cut to the bone. Not just poking fun at one another, or guys pushing each other around. I mean really cutting deep and hitting a nerve. Some are more conscious of their imperfections and plagued by massive amounts of pain, much more than others, their feelings more fragile, many feel they don't belong and feel void and very alone. A good laugh or making someone the punch line to your clever stab is never worth hurting that person so deeply that they want to take their own life.
In Honor of Tyler Clementi -
Apparently a teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stamp on it and really mess it up but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty is was. She then told them to tell it they’re sorry. Now even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bully’s another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home. Pass it on or better yet, if you're a parent or a teacher, do it with your child/children.

"A Day in the Life" - The Beatles (Lennon/McCartney)
I read the news today oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grave
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure
If he was from the House of Lords.
I saw a film today oh boy
The English Army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
but I just had to look
Having read the book
I'd love to turn you on
Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in second splat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
and Somebody spoke and I went into a dream
I read the news today oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
I'd love to turn you on

"Working Class Hero" - John Lennon (lyrics)
This is one of my favorite songs by John Lennon,
He really nailed it here, there is a bit reading into
it, however, once you've experienced some of it, you understand it thoroughly.
Actually this song is only second to "A Day in the Life".
"Working Class Hero"
As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

I did it!!! I feel so LIBERATED!!! Goodbye Facebook...
Richard Peacock is: Contemplating canceling Facebook! No... don't worry guys and girls, not the entire Facebook! Thank's for the ego boost though! More below...
Facebook has been leaving me empty more often than not these days. Sure it's fun to see what your all up to, and get up to the moment updates on what you drank at Starbucks just now, however as I look back through my posts, I find I get more feedback from a deaf, blind, mute monkey! Just kidding! Calm down... don't go reporting me to some kind of "Deaf, Blind, Mute Monkey Organization"! But the internet truly is a cold and lonely place isn't it? Missing good old fashion human contact, and pen to paper. Facebook is over rated! Said the guy sitting talking to himself and laughing in amusement, all while listening to his own music and reading his own blog. ;O) I'm dropping out again! Just like High School! You can reach me on my blog or regular e-mail, just leave a comment if you dare. April fools! You guys and girls would like that wouldn't you???! Why you little B&B's!

"Cowboys & Indians" - an American Revolution
I had a friend just re-post this touching piece, it inspired me to touch on the subject and bring my own views of an old travesty to the table, just following this unknown authors writing: "Before our white brothers arrived to make us civilized people, we had no prisons. For this reason, we had no criminals. Without a prison, there can be no criminals. We had no locks nor keys and therefore there were also no thieves. If someone was so poor that he had no horse, no tent or no cover, he got all of this as
gift. We were too uncivilized to be placed on personal property value. We intended only to property, pass on to him to. We did not have money and therefore the value of a human being was not assessed according to his riches. We had no documented set of laws, no lawyers, no politicians, therefore we could see each other not to cheat. It was really bad around us, Before the whites came, and I can not explain to me how we could do without the basic things that - as we were told -. for a civilized Arm are so necessary ".
This is very touching. It's very true. It is sad to see what our European ancestors brought with them to this part of the world. I try to forgive what had been done to the Indians by European (White & possibly Spanish from Spain) ancestors by simply detaching and non-association or identifying myself as a direct decedent from what has happened in past times. I like to tell myself that Europeans who came to this country were nothing like myself, and their travel here was born of necessity, escaping from their own life failures from within their own countries, they came to this country and founded America with the hope that they would create a better life and therefore a better country.
One problem... they first had to steal it from the Indians, round them up and move them to another chosen land... mission accomplished. I recently watched a 20/20 special on the Indian Reservation and how they were moved there and given funding from the government, which apparently was a direct result in their culture being lost and many of them becoming lazy and alcohol addicted. I don't agree entirely that these types of travesties towards the Indian's is a good enough excuse to lie blame entirely upon these circumstances.
I believe we all have choices in life, and as long as we are not physically being held captive, chained to a large bolder, or encased within a steel box, then, we have the freedom to choose to stay, and the the freedom to leave, to participate and react. It sickens me to think of the evil that has taken place in decades & centuries gone by... I thank God that I do often disassociate myself with so much that happens here in the USA on a daily basis, I feel disconnected from it, like I don't belong, as if I my soul was longing to return to a land elsewhere, which it may have migrated from. I believe most of these feelings are a direct result from a lack of being able to control all the "FREEDOM" we have here in the US. We have so much "FREEDOM" that we feel invincible, entitled, unstoppable.
So many as a direct result are completely unbridled and participate in what ever they wish, be it right or wrong, Citizen or Government... even Banks for that matter. We are above the law, we twist it to what ever shape we wish, we apply it whenever and to whomever suits us best. Many times we look the other way and allow injustice to prevail. And therefore in many ways our justice system has failed us, because it is being ran, weighed and applied by those of us who have forgotten about everyone else, other than ourselves. Essentially we are infected with corruption, influenced by our own life decisions throughout the years, amounting to what we now know as our "Civilization".
"I long to someday move from this wonderful country that is now overrun by politicians and get back to a place where there is not so much FREEDOM! That FREEDOM to choose right from wrong, which we should not even have the right to do anyway! When should wrong be a choice?! And the freedom of GOVERNMENT to choose apparently whatever they wish, which seems to be the golden key to claiming the treasure within the chest, the very chest we all fill through our daily purchases and again in one large donation each years end.
Americans as a whole have much to much freedom. We feel so free that we claim that freedom as our American right! We claim it and utilize it on a daily basis, it entitles us to excuse the lack of teaching our teens and children, who now don't think twice about destroying another's property and or taking another's life. We are raised without respect, honor, pride. We are so free, we have become lazy, and sloppy, as some work harder to pull the weight of the ones who have chosen to embrace the NEW American Dream. All while others in distant countries live their life with fear of God, fear of government and many times the fear of social outcast. And are actually in surveys and census reports, fingered as the "Happiest People in the WORLD!" America the country we all know is #1 is actually #14! Below Panama #12 & Israel #8! (LINK TO LIST) I am quite sure back when the Indians were the Americas, if someone stole from another they would loose a hand! Literally.
There were basic HUMAN LAWS, laws which were not written on paper or set in stone, but basic feelings of right and wrong which were guided by an inner spirit, and if any of these laws were broken you were shunned, cast out, ridiculed and punished in very different ways from today's "civilized" society. I find our modern society quite ironic, in the very way that we use that term "civilized" because to be civil would convey that of organization and the respect for what is right and for others, be the "others" human-beings and or animals. You are also expected to assume being "civil" would embrace having honor as well. Most... if not all of these ingredients are missing from our culture today.
We punish each-other for our differences, be them physical or mental, we steal, we destroy, we fight against one another, many times resulting in loss of precious life, which is not even given as ours to have the choice to take, which I would also conclude is essentially the raping or stealing of a soul, forcing it from the human body and causing it to reside elsewhere.
And as for "honor"... it is something of the past. We are a "ME FIRST" self-centered nation.
We have lost our honor in many ways. We are greedy, we are disrespectful, and we are proud of it in many cases. We boast as children, teens and eventually honor-less adults to one another. We grab all we can, we take what is not ours to take, and we destroy what is not ours to destroy, and we do so with pride and "bragging rights" to our peers.
This is what I would call "Barbaric". I can almost assure you that there was fear of God & fear of their "Human Laws" instilled within the Indian culture and in many other cultures throughout the centuries. However, not these days... we have: Graffiti, Killings, Theft, Capitalism & Rape & the list goes on and on... the world we all have been forced to know has now spread to the good old USA, and we are becoming increasingly forced to now live among-st it. That world is complicated to an even further complexity when you throw Government and all the capitalistic B.S. that shakes hands with it into the mix.
Not to mention all of our fraudulent practices and the get rich schemers. Law suits every direction you turn! And the direct result: Disclaimers printed everywhere on everything, even on the simplest, of our daily encounters... Styrofoam Coffee Cups "Caution Contents Hot"!
We have all been so self-consumed that we aren't even aware that "We" are the cause, and "Hedonism" is the effect.

question...
If Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the light"... and "God is love"... then... I can only conclude that, only through love we are worthy enough to enter heaven (love of God & accepting him as our lord, love toward one another). So, why do so many hypocritical Christians spread so much hate? Wasn't it Jesus who said "Judgement is mine" and... "He who is without sin, cast the first stone"? This is what is wrong with the world these days... we are a bunch of self-centered "me firsts"! Maybe that stems from so many sayings from past years, such as: "I got mine" "If I don't look out for number one, then who will?" "I got to get paid" and the list goes on... and on... and on... just like me. ;O)

The Passing Of Apple's Great... Mr. Steve Jobs
When I learned of Mr. Job's passing yesterday, I was in utter shock, seeming so sudden, yet, knowing it was a long time coming. My heart goes out to his family and the world... the void felt by the loss of such a positive, innovative and brilliant man is astronomical. It was back in January of this year that I had wrote a recognition blog for this amazing individual. I pray God has someone in mind who will carry the torch further and allow it to burn brighter in the next coming centuries, however, I don't feel this is quite possible. God bless you and your family Mr. Steve Jobs.

"England" - riots in my fathers country... August 8, 2011
There aren't any other words other than... What the HELL is wrong with our world???!!! Thugs in jolly Olde England! My father's birth country!
I am thoroughly disgusted with the recent crimes in London! This is the type of BS that should have been put a stop to YESTERDAY! It is in times like these where government should seek help ANYWHERE they can get it, to stomp out this sort of horrible terrorism act! It's simply any EXCUSE to commit unspeakable crimes!
It amazes me how some nationalities seem to have utterly NO RESPECT for human life and civilization! Watch the videos... it will make you sick to see the damage done in the London riots.
All I see is a group of animals raping and pillaging the country... striping it from all it's rich historic properties and memories! I am re-thinking free will at this point. There should be fear in one's heart of the repercussions of committing this sort of horrible act. The links are below...

"Country Wide" (Now Bank of America) Forecloses on WRONG HOUSE?!
Watch the following video and you will see what all my ranting is about below...
People... why do mistakes like this happen so often these days? This is not just a "You forgot my fries with my Coke"! This is a MAJOR issue that seems to be happening time and time again through out the entire US where people are not being held accountable for their lack of paying attention and or professionalism throughout so many large and small US businesses.
Anyone with this sort of high responsibility job, such as one in the banking and or health care field, had better show a real sense of attentiveness and put your damn cell phone down, stop texting! Pay attention when you are dealing with these sorts of high responsibility jobs! Stop thinking about what you did at the party last night or what your going to do when you get off work! PAY ATTENTION.
I can't voice how many times I have witnessed these sorts of large problems as the ones responsible attempt to divert and or diminish the actual occurring issue, by simply not acknowledging the mistake made. And many times these sorts of mistakes are served with an arrogant attitude conveying lack of responsibility. NOT EVEN AN "I AM SORRY". Amazing!

Double Dip Recession!!!??? Sounds like a recipe for BS!
Enough of the double dipping already! Only a moron would report this type of journalistic B.S. in an already recovering economy! The road to recovery is a difficult and winding one, as we got here in this place much faster, than we will be able to get back to where we started over 4 years ago, of course we aren't springing back right off! Of course we will have some back lash! But this DOES NOT MEAN DOUBLE DIPPING!!!!
I would hope that most of us are more intelligent than the media and government gives us credit for! The only way we take a dive twice is if we collectively decide to do so, and if any of us buy into this sort of destructive reporting, then we are all doomed and at the mercy of the US Government reports! I have said this from the beginning of the mess, the deeper the B.S. the further we sink and the more we buy into it the weaker the economy gets.
We the people control the economy, not them the government. Its exactly like the stock market, bad reports = tanking stock share prices = stock market crash! Bad economic reports = everyone and their, mother, grandmother & uncle tightening up on the spending, which in turn equals loss of revenue for businesses, less employees, less product choices carried, less spending on credit from the businesses, manufactures and consumers, which in turn equals loss of JOBS/UNEMPLOYMENT!!! And the saga continues... as we all chase our tails around in a circle.

Schwarzenegger, Edwards & The Rest...
It's strange how many high power, high profile individuals pitfall into the EXACT same circumstances and make the exact same mistakes with their lives... we have all seen it done to death... They start out seemingly happily married, well put together, confident and extremely capable. However, after the pressures of life and job set in, not to mention being displayed, criticized and ridiculed, poked and prodded time and time again in the global media. They crack, crumble and fall, right into infidelity & indictment... as they gradually self-destruct. So many of us mismanage our own lives and loves as the stress of life clutches down upon us, most these days find just getting by enough to drive them to the edge and beyond. Mix that ingredient with the need for release, feeling some lack of appreciation or respect from your spouse, a healthy dose of "Sliding Doors" so to speak and a pinch of lack of communication and it's not an unusual recipe for "I deserve more from life & I am going to take it no matter the consequence". And so it is. It's the pressures in life and the lack of feeling truly appreciated that leads so many to pursue that exciting escape from reality, and that is exactly what it is "escape from reality", an escape at a price that ultimately effects all concerned ripping their lives apart only second to the pain and loss of loosing a loved one through death can muster up. Stress & great responsibility = a fast-track to disillusion.

"Obama killed Osama"
Obama killed Osama... he accomplished what no other US President has been able to in over a decade. Heavy handed pat on the back to you Mr. President. Keep up the good work and don't worry about your birth certificate! It's just a lot of BS anyway!
It's all so easy to forget that Osama was one of God's creations as well, even knowing he was one of the most EVIL, and knowing that God's judgement will be bestowed upon him isn't quite justice enough for all he has done or been a direct result in. However, on flip side of the coin, we can not allow ourselves as US Citizens under God, to stoop to the level of the many of the middle east mentalities which have been publicly displayed time and time again in news broadcasts as crowds of these individuals from various countries have professed their hatred for us and at times physical altercations and abuse arose. We must not be shown in similar gatherings broadcast from the White House lawn rejoicing and basking in the glory of the killing of another individual. It is almost impossible to contain our pure and utter joy with the knowledge that some form of justice has been served! However, if we allow ourselves, we too shall be observed as EVIL. Just my take on the gloating of a death in general. Believe me I feel Osama deserved anything that was thrown his way, but that does not mean we should gather and dance upon the grave of a dead body... or does it? Well, either way, it would be almost impossible to dance on this grave of this dead body, since it resides somewhere in the middle of the ocean.
Eh... I am probably a bit wrong on this one... however, I always try to step into the shoes of another race or creed so I am able to see things from their side of the spectrum, and although I can see how the pain and suffering from the incidents of 911, provokes all to rejoice in the death of this evil bastard, I am not entirely sure it is the right thing to be broadcasting a celebration of. We did it, its done, lets move on! Why does such evil exist? How do these individuals get so screwed up that they can even fathom this type of treatment and behavior toward others??? Truth be told, I have mixed feelings on this topic, yes Osama deserved to die and we needed to eliminate his ability to continue his rein of terror. No I don't think it is a great idea to be shown jumping up and down & screaming at the top of our lungs with an American flag thrown atop our shoulders, basking in the glory of death and ultimately gloating.

"Your Own Worst Enemy"....
We truly are! I don't know anyone besides ourselves, who can get us into more trouble! It's funny how people who do the wrong thing with their life, time and time again, seem to blame someone other than themselves for being in such an unfortunate situation. And when it comes time to pay their debts for their mistakes, they see themselves as the victim. I just can't understand how someone can feel bad for them self, having been the one who put them self in that very position in the first place... then they want everyone else to feel bad for them and they can't understand, when they break the law why they are being punished for it! They profess to be a good person caught in a bad situation! When in fact they would have never been in that position had they not been the exact opposite of what they profess to be!

"Does GOD Exist...?? Brilliantly answered by a Genius... By Nasir Khan." - Rebuttal by Richard Peacock
I love this video! And I do completely understand this theory... however, I have to disagree with it. Saying something does not exist just because it is unmeasurable or non-understandable, or something does not exist because it is the condition or result of a lack of substance thereof, this does NOT make "it" the actual "result" and or "effect" non-existent. If that were so, it would be like saying every condition or effect caused by another unseen force, such as an earth quake or tsunami, never existed. Try telling the people of Japan that their disaster is effectively non-existent. As it was a direct result from a creation of God's work, which was uncontrolled by God, and allowed to take place. Saying darkness and cold are non-existent, is like saying deafness and blindness are the presence or lack thereof a certain condition. So, if God himself is unseen and or unmeasurable, then...? I believe in Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit, I also believe that HE/THEY are one in the same and created EVERYTHING, even the lack of the presence of "God" in certain circumstances. We were created in "HIS" image and with free will and feeling ALL of the emotions which God has created, he has created EVERYTHING in this world/universe! EVERYTHING including infinity/eternity, good/evil. We just can not understand why he allows evil to exist and run ramped, and therefore, we try to justify that with it is the lack of God's presence in our lives. When in actuality we were born sinners! Sin is EVIL, therefore, we were born within SIN. We can only be delivered from SIN by accepting God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. Hence, controlling "SIN's" influence with in our lives. But this will never happen if we do not accept and want it. It's like anything in life, you have to want it with all your heart! You have to truly want it! - Richard Peacock
P.S. There is, and never will be anyway to completely say ANYONE truly understands God's will, God's plan, or anything that God does or does not do! All any of us have is speculation/FAITH!
