God's "Perfect Timing"

What do you do when life hits you hard, over and over again?
Do you double over?
Fall down and lie there?
Or... Do you punch back?
Do you pray?
Or... Do you blame God?
Do you give up?
Or... Do you give it your all?
Do you believe in "God's perfect timing"?
Or... Believe God is a spectator in this world?
Why do so many horrible things happen to good people?
Even those who profess to be religious and continually pray to "God"?

Here's to those who believe in "God's perfect timing".  I don't.  I refuse to believe my/a God wants those of us waiting for His "perfect timing" and thus "suffering" in doing so, to continue to wait for him to intervievne.  My God doesn't manipulate those in this world, he allows free will in man, and thus, bad timing happens/occurs.

These bad things in our world that take place in our lives, are not God's plan, not God's timing, it has NOTHING to do with God.

God doesn't want his children to suffer.  And that's exactly what all his children are doing in one way or another in so many different situations in our lives going wrong these days, so many catastrophes! Some work our for the best in the long run, and some are simply "are what they are", (which is a term I actually hate!).  God bless our world!  Pray for our people who live in this world to become compassionate toward one another and begin to see their self centered ways.  Pray for acceptance of the difference in our religions/faiths, acceptance of our different skin colors, acceptance of our different cultures.  PRAY.

Author, Artist & Musician · symbolsoflove.us

"Respect" is something so many have lost these days. "Religion" is something most of us have, yet, we do not respect others. This is key!

If God is love and God created all, does it matter what you believe God looks like? Does it matter if he is Christian, Catholic, Muslim etc.

God is love, do you show love to others who you disagree with on religion? If not, then who are you promoting? Most believe in a God...

It really doesn't matter who was right about the "True God" when it's all over and done. All religious beliefs come from writings...

Books written in different languages, by various nationalities. Are you God enough to say who's right? Do you have the "proof"...

When it comes down to it all any of us have is "Faith" the faith that our religion is right. We could all be wrong, books written by men...

are not proof of God, nor are they proof that any one religious book is absolutely correct over another. Respect others, you may be wrong.

Besides that, you reflect the God you stand in the name of. We can all be God like to one another or Devilish. We have been given "choice".

I respect all religious beliefs, I chose to show God through my love toward others. I am not perfect. Nor are God's creations.

If God created all, then... he created ALL. And evil & disease are not simply a byproduct or effect of "free will". Life is what we make it

For "Tweet" so loved the feed that it gave it's only begotten "Tweet" that whosoever believeth in "Tweet" shall not perish but have...TWEET!

Yeah... I am quite twisted. Not quite sure who made me this way... guess I have to thank the world I live in.

The Holy Bible

"Proof"... Where is it? There is no way to actually prove it's authenticity... yet so many seem to trust that it was all translated from Hebrew and Latin precisely.  Everything within the Bible seems to fall just beyond the scope of what reality and science can prove to be true. And when so many base their lives around a book that professes odd descriptions of events which question realistic possibility as well as all probability that we know today, or from any scientifically recorded events within the distant past!  There isn't any physical evidence or original documentation which I know of, such as a pile of dust in an environmentally controlled plexi-glass (plexiglas) box.  Nor, are their any tangible facts to support the theory, and... what is conveyed is simply unexplainable. Then... I have to question its very origin and contents. I am very sorry, however I need divine intervention, proof! Substance! Not a group of words on pages gathered and transcribed by man (men?). I need more than stories of old passed down from thousands of years to various nations and then translated from hieroglyphics and Latin, Greek, Hebrew! I need actual physical evidence, the smoking pen, twig, rock or what ever the guy used to transcribe the word of God. Better yet... Maybe God can contact me directly.  I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from him...

question...

If Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the light"... and "God is love"... then... I can only conclude that, only through love we are worthy enough to enter heaven (love of God & accepting him as our lord, love toward one another). So, why do so many hypocritical Christians spread so much hate? Wasn't it Jesus who said "Judgement is mine" and... "He who is without sin, cast the first stone"? This is what is wrong with the world these days... we are a bunch of self-centered "me firsts"! Maybe that stems from so many sayings from past years, such as: "I got mine" "If I don't look out for number one, then who will?" "I got to get paid" and the list goes on... and on... and on... just like me. ;O)

"God Hates Fags?" If being Christian means conveying hate towards Gays & Lesbians then...

Love this photo, someone on my facebook list just posted this. If this is what being a good Christian means, I would much rather be Atheist! Believe me God is love NOT hate! So, this poor misguided guy on the left is just that! I try to explain this to other Christians I run across from time to time. I am a Christian and happen to be a strait one, and using common sense and a good train of thought process, I was able to come up with this analysis of "Homosexuality" and "Heterosexuality" ... okay, here we go...

Think of this situation in this way, are you strait??? Can you imagine forcing yourself to be gay? Can you imagine yourself being truly attracted to the same sex? If your answer is "no way" and you truly have absolutely no attraction in a sexual way toward the same sex, congratulations you have just confirmed you are positively heterosexual. Guess what? Homosexuals feel the same way about the opposite sex most of the time... if you can take that feeling you know to be true to your own sexual orientation and imagine yourself in the other's position, so to speak, then, why can't you see that sexual attraction is NOT something you decide or force yourself to feel.

You can't make yourself feel something is right when you know it is wrong for you! Can you? So why would proclaiming yourself as gay/lesbian be thought of as something you "Chose"? Or for that matter a "Sin"??? Is it a sin that God created you to feel sexually attracted to the opposite sex? Is it a sin that you need food and water to survive? Is it a sin that you want love in your life? Isn't sin something that is wrong that at times we "chose" to partake in? Isn't sin something that at times feels good to act out? Well, then... would you enjoy forcing yourself to have intercourse with the same sex being strait/heterosexual? Was your answer "Hell NO!" I hope you can see what I am attempting to convey here.

Sexual orientation is NOT a choice! It is something you can not help but feel an attraction to. And that is the way God made each and every one of us the way we are! God created our genes, every blood cell, bone and hair in his image. Which would mean to me that God created MAN & WOMAN in HIS IMAGE! So, with that in mind, God/Jesus/Holy Spirit are exactly like each and everyone of us, no matter what sex our bodies morph into! So, for someone to tell another they are "sinning" and or "damned" by God, and not loved by God or accepted by Jesus! That is definitely the work of the Devil in my eyes! Which would mean that anyone who is conveying this message in the name of the Father, Son or Holy Spirit, is actually conveying blasphemous untruths in the name of God/Jesus/Holy Spirit and ultimately against them, as well as Christianity in whole! Hence, SINNING.

If you take the Bible literally, and exactly as it has been interpreted from the Hebrew, Greek & Latin languages as well as what ever language it was originally written in (Who truly knows? Were you there?) then, you are saying you accept that the Bible was written by someone you know wasn't mad or insane or simply manipulating most of the world to come. Someone who was honest and trustworthy in their interpretation of what you have been told was strait from God's mouth and onto a tablet or leather hide! You have the "Christian Faith" that the Bible is exactly what God had intended to convey to you... why? Because this is what we have all been told! Because the Bible has always been and will always be. Because you know without a shadow of a doubt that God/Jesus/Holy Spirit (himself/themselves) told Matthew, Mark, Luke & John to write this down word for word... here we go... "In the beginning, there was God."

I love God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, however, I don't live my life with the "Blind Faith" that the Bible is exactly what was told by my savior. I am logical and have to use past life experiences to compare what is in the Bible with what has been scientifically documented to have happened over time, I also have to use my common sense, which tells me that if something magical hasn't happened in past centuries and is actually in theory, and scientifically an impossible act that defy's all logic and laws of our world as we know it, such as gravity and or any other laws of nature which we know to be true. Then, I have to question any statement that tells me otherwise, I also have to question the Bible's origination and the very statement that God/Jesus/holy Spirit told these disciples to quote: write this down...

I live life without judgement whenever possible, I attempt to be humble, honest, and hold honor close to my heart, to be fair with logic and the love in my heart to guide my path. I question everything in life and analyze all. I never take anyone's written or spoken word as God's honest truth. And, I have a close relationship with God without the written work/word of the Bible. I know God made us who we are, created everything and I feel he wants us all with him when we leave this realm, and cross over to the spiritual realm. I know there is much evil working against our God and his love, which we should all convey in our lives to others.

I know that fish don't fall from the sky and multiply (unless they are "flying fish"), rivers don't flow of blood (unless man has something to do with that), we don't sacrifice our first born (EVER, unless we are murders), the sea never parts (unless there is an earth quake of great proportions). The world is not consumed by fire (unless the molten center of the earth is allowed to erupt to the surface covering the entire earth) and... "God doesn't hate Gays, Straights or Lesbians.

"Does GOD Exist...?? Brilliantly answered by a Genius... By Nasir Khan." - Rebuttal by Richard Peacock

I love this video! And I do completely understand this theory... however, I have to disagree with it. Saying something does not exist just because it is unmeasurable or non-understandable, or something does not exist because it is the condition or result of a lack of substance thereof, this does NOT make "it" the actual "result" and or "effect" non-existent. If that were so, it would be like saying every condition or effect caused by another unseen force, such as an earth quake or tsunami, never existed. Try telling the people of Japan that their disaster is effectively non-existent. As it was a direct result from a creation of God's work, which was uncontrolled by God, and allowed to take place. Saying darkness and cold are non-existent, is like saying deafness and blindness are the presence or lack thereof a certain condition. So, if God himself is unseen and or unmeasurable, then...? I believe in Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit, I also believe that HE/THEY are one in the same and created EVERYTHING, even the lack of the presence of "God" in certain circumstances. We were created in "HIS" image and with free will and feeling ALL of the emotions which God has created, he has created EVERYTHING in this world/universe! EVERYTHING including infinity/eternity, good/evil. We just can not understand why he allows evil to exist and run ramped, and therefore, we try to justify that with it is the lack of God's presence in our lives. When in actuality we were born sinners! Sin is EVIL, therefore, we were born within SIN. We can only be delivered from SIN by accepting God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. Hence, controlling "SIN's" influence with in our lives. But this will never happen if we do not accept and want it. It's like anything in life, you have to want it with all your heart! You have to truly want it! - Richard Peacock

P.S. There is, and never will be anyway to completely say ANYONE truly understands God's will, God's plan, or anything that God does or does not do! All any of us have is speculation/FAITH!

"Japan's Disaster" & the world in general...

Just when it seems it's much to much to bare, there's more. And even more! Why? God why? I know we have free will and the universe spins at will, however, why must so many lives be damaged by free will of others and a free spinning globe of natural disasters? Is it the end times? Is our lord Jesus Christ coming back very soon to claim his children? Or is this the way it is to be done? Is it possible that the Bible was interpreted incorrectly in many different languages? Is it possible that Jesus is not to return for us after all but take us in mass groups a bit at a time via "Natural Disasters" etc.? I believe anything is possible at this point. I believe the Bible was written in poetic similes and then interpreted literally, and exactly as it were written, and not in the way which it were actually intended, therefore, as the "Seas parted" and the "Lake was of fire", the "River ran of blood" and "Fish fell from the skies", I believe what actually happened was a "tsunami parted a portion of the sea", a "Lake was hot from a natural hot spring and or natural oil spring somehow catching fire", the "River ran with blood from so many who were killed in it during battle, and or was red from the natural minerals in the soils of the actual river bed", the "Fish jumped from the nearby ocean to the skies etc.(Flying Fish) etc... etc... etc. Yes these things may have seemed like remarkable miracles to the ancient people of B.C. times and A.D., a lack of scientific explanation and evidence accumulated from actual scientists with the modern tools and knowledge of today. I do believe in miracles. I just don't believe they happen as often as life's unexplained circumstances are attributed to. There is so much left unexplained and there is still the unanswered question "Why if God/Jesus/Holy Spirit are all powerful, does HE/THEM, allow the unjust, horrible, unspeakable, unthinkable actions to take place in this world?" I am a Christian, but being Christian to me means spreading love and acceptance, accepting that Jesus is my/our savior and having "that" internal feeling given to me by the Holy Spirit/Jesus/God and listening to our internal right from wrong compass, as we gravitate toward one or the other, we all have a sense of what is truly the right thing to do in life. What feels right is usually right and what feels wrong is usually wrong, and sometimes we mistake that feeling of excitement and danger from doing the "WRONG THING" with the notion of it being actually "RIGHT", that goes into an entirely different issue of psychological awareness and mental stability, so, we won't say everyone gets these feelings right, we will just leave it as, most understand and interpret the feelings that come from our internal compass that points us toward the truth correctly, most of the time. Anyway you look at it no one truly knows the actual "TRUTH" about God/Jesus/Holy Spirit until they actually leave this world, and even then we are speculating. So when we see such pain and suffering spanning from nation to nation and question WHY? The answer may just be... "BECAUSE IT CAN", as the world continues to evolve, change and spin freely and upon free will. God gave us free will and apparently this is the test many are failing. True Christians spread God's love and understanding and leave persecution and judgement to our lord, so, if you are ever told by someone proclaiming they are Christian that you are going to HELL and or are persecuted by them for past or current actions, decisions and or mistakes in your life, try to draw comfort in the fact that that particular individual is not doing as God/Jesus/Holy Spirit instructed or conveyed. That person either knowingly or unknowingly is doing the work of someone other than the ONE who they proclaim to represent through their actions. God is LOVE and he made us all who we are and the way we are, he is the only one who can truly judge us for the feelings and wants he instilled within our very souls. We were made in HIS image and by his vision of the way he wanted us to be. Try to understand and have acceptance and compassion for one another. And if you feel someone is wrong in their views of life/love etc. then, whomever is actually Godly enough to have earned their right to judge/guide them... have at it. "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". My prayers go out to/for the beautiful people of Japan, may God bless them and everyone else in this world who is suffering in one way or another due to fee will and or natural disaster. May God bless us all. He already has, if we just accept it and believe it to be true with all our soul. -Richard Peacock

"Product of Our Environment?"

Are we a product of our environment? I truly feel there is some weight to this theory. I used to feel we have control of what or who we become and ultimately our chosen decisions determine who we evolve to be, many years ago this statement would hold true to my beliefs. Many psychiatrists say yes and many more say no! Now, I still fully believe who we become and are is directly influenced from our gathered life experiences and decisions make or have made, either due to non-existent options and or our own ignorance or lack of insight, however, we do ultimately make those very decisions that determine who and what we identify ourselves with. Any psychiatrist who would disagree, truly never fully understood his or her chosen profession. No one individuals thought process and or circumstances in their lives can be equated to an exact science and fit into one of several different physiological categories! The decisions we make ultimately decide our final destination in who or what we become long term, however, even though our chosen path ultimately effects the final product, our acquaintances and or individuals we associate with have a great influence on this as well! Many who start out good in nature, when grouped with others who have less than desirable motives, and or when given no other choices and or are unable to see any other solution to their situation, many times we become a "Product of our environment". There isn't any true mathematical calculation to predict the outcome of any one individuals psychiatric make up. I don't care how pure an individual starts out, when given the same set of circumstances and limited resources time and time again, with no change possible within site, that individual over time will eventually become somewhat corrupt and or jaded. Much like a cancer gnawing at the healthy cells it eventually takes hold and starts to grow within their very soul. And without intervention or interjection of hope into their lives they eventually become consumed by their environment. I am in no way assuming that there is no turning back from here and that that individual can not heal and or recover from their unfortunate set of circumstances and or life choices. I do believe however that their very core has been fractionally effected long term, if not a lifetime. This is why evil grows like a tumor and spreads like a cancer! "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" - "an eye for an eye" - Jesus Christ. It's that simple. And when someone calls them-self a Christian they are assuming a huge burden to reflect all that is good and the responsibility to convey God's love through their lives. I don't believe any one individual should ever attempt to convey what belief they are or even call them-self God's witness of sorts, without an immediate disclaimer afterwards "I am a man, I am not perfect, I was born in sin, of sin and Jesus Christ died for my sins, so that I may have everlasting life! Therefore, you will see me sin, you will witness hypocritical behavior from me and you should point out to me where I am wrong in my actions". Because, we all default back to judgement of others and that is VERY DANGEROUS! Especially when we ourselves can compare actions we choose to partake in, within our lives that are comparable to the individuals actions whom we falsely feel we have the authority to judge.

"God Bless You"

Such an overly used term... when I say God bless you to someone, I mean it! It holds weight, not just a loosely used term without any true meaning behind the words used. God is love period and he want's us all to accept one another and understand one another and cherish one another... without love, we have despare, destruction, hatred, chaos and hopelessness. Keep love close to your heart and pass by the ones who persecute, judge and are there to basically tear you down, violate and vandalize your very soul, leaving it tethered and bludgeoned and marked with the ugliness of their own personal graffiti, for no one but God him self is able to judge another's soul!

Why?... WHY???

God is all powerful, all knowing, he, for lack of a better description, is everything to everyone... yet, he allows us our own choices in life, he allows so many horrific events to take place and evil to on many occasions prevail. We are given free will, the choice to live or die, the choice to cherish life, or take one. The choice between good and evil and although many do not know how to do it... the ability to take control of our life and manipulate that life to a certain extent channeling it in various directions. We are told not to judge, for judgement is suppose to be left unto our lord. Yet we are able to persecute and ridicule. Even the State is given the power to decide how life is spent and at times whether life is lived at all. Church congregations, ministers and countless Christians as well as Catholic and multiple other religions, being human, and extremely confused as to what our God wants or asks of us, seem to forget right from wrong and become hypocritical and judgemental and treat one another as less worthy of respect judged upon race, creed or religion. Rather than "treat others how you would expect to be treated" and "love one another". WHY??? Why are we allowed to become so corrupt in our beliefs, values and views of one another? Why were we given free will to hate and commit horrific sins against each other? Why are innocent children taken from this world at young ages? Why do we grow old? Why must we all loose our loved ones one at a time and in some cases all at once? Why is there so much hate? Why is there so much greed? Why don't we take care of one another? Why are some reading this right now and thinking "Fucking Idiot"? Why are so many so screwed up? And why don't we value one another? Why don't we have the time for common courtesy? Why don't we make time for friends? And why does it seem that many who call themselves your friend, usually end up asking for something you haven't offered? And why do some take advantage of your good nature and genuine caring for their well being? I could and would blog on much, much longer here, but I think you've been, or are now, where I have gone with this... next time you call a family member or a friend to ask for something from, or of them, think about the last time you called just to say hi, or to tell them you love them, or miss them or would like to get together with them... or better yet! Think about the last time you offered them something of yourself freely without motive. Think of in what way you have enriched their life and then, attempt to remember some of those great moments you have brought to their life and the last time you made their life a bit easier or happier because you gave something of your self, selflessly.

A Poem Taken From "FRACTURE"

July

Taken in an instant...
Within the blinking of an eye...
Did you sell yourself short...
Was your truth an elaborate and complicated lie?

Taken once for granted...
Yet you never will again...

Living for the moment?
Or an attempt to justify this sin?

Never leave me wondering...
If you ever gave a damn...

Cherish every moment...
And never forget who I am...

Still waiting for a future...
That is never sure to come...

And when it's all done and over...
I'm left alone, here cold and numb...

So, cherish every daybreak...
And every early dawn...

And grant me one last favor...
Don't forget me when I'm gone...

As the sky fills up with darkness...
And pours down upon your empty soul...

Let it fill you up with sunshine...
As I lie within this hole...

Gather up these ashes...
As they scatter thru these fields...

For all that truly matters...
Is in the end our fate is sealed.

Re: Religion, God, Jesus & Holy Sprit

Thank you Mike! How true... I do subscribe to what everyone here claiming Christianity is broadcasting, however, in order to truly get to the bottom or root of any problem, you cannot let yourself be consumed by what you have been force feed in your youth, and automatically shut down to analyzation and reason. I love God! And anyone who is to judge another is a hypocrite! It says in God's word "let he/she who is without sin, cast the first stone" and... "judgement is to left unto me". If it is one thing that God did not want is for his children to be judged and pre-judged for being human! Everyone SINS! You can't get away from it! It was born unto us! That is why Jesus died for our SINS! Hence, we are cleansed by the blood of the lamb (Jesus Christ). Therefore, for any so called Christian to condemn another for an addiction to a purely instinctual action and something that we were created to automatically do as a natural trait is OBSCENE! It is one thing to abuse your God given rights and blindly go out and take advantage of women, and not truly care for the one your with! But it is entirely another to tell someone who is committed to another on the same level as they are committed to you that they are "Going to HELL". Like I said in a prior blog... and think farther into this... "MARRIAGE" is a commitment to another under God, in God's eyes & a lousy piece of paper from the screwed up State! The same State that only truly cares about the taxes you will pay and the legal obligations that will ensue by their Marriage Certificate. So, as you see, I am not buying into the whole "shun everyone who is claiming another religion, and show them what a true Christian is by pre-judging them and telling them they have to conform and give up their God created instincts and life NOW or forever burn in a lake of fire!" After all I truly believe after billions of years of translation from MANY languages to ENGLISH and SPANISH and all the other languages, that there is NO way that the Bible has been able to be held pure to its original scripture... there is a LOT of differences in translation from one language to another as well as so many different ways to describe situations! I don't believe we were the first generations to describe life situations in artistic ways! And the sea parted, the sky was on fire, the lake was of blood, the mountains were made of gold and we literally sacrificed our first born to God himself! I believe that many translations were artistically painted in this way in the Bible, I do believe in miracles and I do believe all that is in the Bible, however, I do not believe in MAN! And the men that translated and in some cases wrote the Bible for Jesus/God. Therefore, I can't take every word, every scripture as if it came directly from the hand of my lord! Since it was interpeted and translated in so many ways and over so many billions of years! I believe the sea parted (there may have been a tsunami) I believe the sky was on fire (I have seen the sky on fire many sunsets) I believe there sea or lake was of blood (I have seen rivers/seas that look as if they are full of blood) I believe the mountains were made of gold (I am sure that many places the mountains have gold in them & that many years ago, who knows they may have been solid gold before they sunk into the ground and were covered and re-discovered by our California gold miners) And I believe that many first born were sacrificed to god (Given/dedicated unto God). I also believe that a few of these references I have made are a bit twisted and that I have not accurately quoted a lot of the Bible, however, I do know that God/Jesus is a “Loving God” and that he created us in his IMAGE! And therefore, he is a understanding and all knowing God who wants his children with him in Heaven! I truly don’t believe that he would condemn his children from loving one another & for their sexual differences and genetic structure when it comes to who they are attracted to! Why can’t all Christians just embrace everyone and just accept them and if they are wrong in certain ways in the way they live their lives, show them thru love and acceptance! After all JESUS DIED FOR ALL OUR SINS! Look me up on myspace. I have several different sites but my main site is backslash sacredscar. God bless!

Religion & God, Jesus & Holy Spirit!

I recently found a very interesting site called xxxChurch.com
I was up early one morning and could not sleep, so I was going thru google.com searching for my book and different links to it and found this site.

Something there hit a cord with me and I posted the following:
"Richard wrote on December 29th 08 at 05:31AM Ironic... we are made in his image and given free will, created to create & re-produce. Woman fashioned from man's own flesh & bone. Given the attraction to be attracted to, and love the attractive. And then told it is a SIN to love thy neighbor out of marriage, which mearly a spoken commitment to another, under God. And a piece of paper to the State. Food for thought."

I got a few responses which I had expected... go to the site and check them out!
For copyright purposes, I will not post them here, only my own responses!

I then received a response just this morning... in my e-mail:

Hello Richard - There was a new comment by mike on the entry Vegas Porn Show 2009.
