Good morning everyone! Just some of my thoughts on writing in general...
For those who do not have a single true passion in life, they will not fully understand this description first hand. And I feel turly sorry for them having not the pleasure of this experience. However, I believe anyone who has been, so to speak, "cut from similar creative cloth as I" will find this depiction of "channeling something spiritually greater".
It is interesting how we evolve and are continually growing, spiritually, mentally and physically through out our lives. I would not have choose myself for a writer early on in life. I hated grade school (I found it very boring) I did not like to read books (never had the patients) and I was not much for writing. However, over the years I have found passion in print, as well as musical & intellectual thought & learning of the things which interest myself and challenge myself creatively (world events, world history, biographies, instruction and just about anything about architecture, construction & home improvement projects). I also found a love for writing poetry, through the process of writing my music, melodies and such.
From my experience, I have found that when you have completely and deeply immersed yourself within thought, that you become enthralled within those very thoughts and images, which relentlessly become one with your spirt. Something greater than imagination takes over, and for lack of a better description, you become one with your creative process, almost as if in a hypnotic zone, somewhat similar to what I would imagine a mental possession or a chemical induced trip would comprise of. When tapped into this entity, it completely engulfs your mental awareness and seems to flow from within your very soul as you exhume the creativity which lies within, and if dwelled within this region or state of being for lengthy amounts of time, you may find yourself so free from all reality as you have known, that you begin to act or react out of character, choices made, as you dwell within the midst of this mindset, are at times, not the ones which would have been made if you were not consumed by your current creative process. After somewhat of a short detox period. You actually feel as if you had channeled something or something has channeled thru you mentally. You may become quite emotional afterward, by the beauty of that which you have created. As if that which had channeled thru you, were an entity unto itself, yet seeming an extension of true spirit, unbridled.
