US state of decline... Or state of stagnicity

In the immortal words of "Trent Reznor"... "now I'm down in it". And it looks like we all are for quite a while, being that our politicians are only interested in making it to, and through the next election, and... Oh yeah... Winning! Politics ignorance has gotten so blatantly obvious that neither side and or no one in office/the White House has a clue on what issue "Trumps" the next and where we need to focus first, that the whole US... Wait for it... Has been chasing its tail for over 4 years now! Isn't it about time for its citizens to wake up and take hold of the reins? Too much power given to our political leaders, coupled with lazy American carelessness, has paved the way for statements like "our US Government has not done enough to create job growth". Come on people! Are we really that ignorant and helpless? We united, have the control to steer the politicians in the direction we need to be. After all we do choose and elect them to office, do we not? They do work for us and are paid by our tax dollar, are they not? And furthermore, the government doesn't have the power to force US citizens to purchase merchandise/consumer goods, buy plane tickets, utilize local businesses and their services, and purchase plane tickets and utilize other types of services that create job demand and growth! Fear has taken hold and recessed our financial economy, we... Like the sheep we have become, have followed suit, and with the simple whisper of a single word, 4 years ago, around the most profitable time of year for most businesses... We tucked tail and buried our nest egg and the entire nest for that matter! As consumers froze their economic expenditures, supply over threw demand, jobs folded, businesses crumbled, mortgages were annulled! And FEAR engulfed the US... And soon after the rest of the nations. So... What's to become of us now? Now that our US government hasn't been able to enough jobs to renew our faith in prosperity? Come on people! Wake up! It's up to us not US government. We let this thing run deep through our lifeline, it severed nerves and major arteries! It's festered so long by this point in time, that the only place left to start any kind of repair is our job market, through the up sprouting of small and large business... One problem, these very businesses have been burned by our lack of funding them before, and without any guarantees, many of them now find it hard to place faith in a consumer that stopped purchasing from them over 4 years prior. These are the effects of financial hoarding in a down market. It's a downward spiral, within a vortex. And the only one(s) with the power to pull up and out of this mess is the US consumer. So buy something already! Something big! Let's create a demand for more jobs through flooding our local businesses with our purchasing power, and force them to hire employees to accommodate us as their customer! Or everyone can save their money and continue to put everyone out of business but the government entities, for they are the only ones who get "money for nothing" and probably even get "their chicks for free". ;O)
