The Definition of "Political Eloquence"; Is the art of saying something, all while saying absolutely nothing at all. Have you ever listened to a politician? I mean actually listened to one? Well then... I applaud you!
I am dumbfounded how anyone with half a mind of their own, could actually fall for any of their political mayhem. They open their mouths and out falls excellence, the art of manipulation as they give their supporting party exactly what they seem to want to hear... the only problem is they never actually give them what I would assume they would want from a political leader, yet, their sheep continue to assemble to graze the miles and miles of pastures filled of empty fields.
Yes, they have their opinions and political topics which were groomed for them by their handlers from massive information taken from polls taken by each political platform, and they, like a eloquent sermon taken from an ancient book written in ancient times, speak in riddles and poetic nuances, they never really fully address, what they profess to all, that which they support and or oppose. And with the twist of their forked tongue they direct their public to lay down and wait for the venom to take hold. And many do!
I am not one to fall prey to the "Hoodoo" of the political figure that easy. I have unanswered questions... and when one has finished with their speech... many, many unanswered questions! They tell you, if elected, what they will do, and when asked how? They usually seem to default back to the answer prior. If they are clever enough they will regurgitate it back in a slightly different way. Never quite explaining how they plan to achieve all of their wonderful promises. It's the same with any proposition a political party would like to see passed, they put it out there with a premise, and never tell you up front in bold print exactly what else passing this bill will place into effect.
They all seem to be on the same page titled "The Art of Confusion"... and yeah, there is a lot of "look over there!", "Whats that?!" And even some... "He said, he said!". All of this fun is simply a bit of smoke for the mirror. They have to puff something at you, if that mirror was clear you would definitely see it was a mirror right? But once you add a bit of smoke or fog to the mix, you might just run right into it! And by then it's much too late, now isn't it?
