This recent BP blunder apparently has had UK feeling as if the US lies blame upon, or faults the entire United Kingdom for the recent BP blunder. Is our president Mr. Obama in charge of our country? Does he not have the power to fix this issue? If he doesn't, then I haven't any idea who does??? And furthermore, how is a single organization/industrial company allowed to make such a critical decision on their own without multiple permits and clearance period! Are we all sheep??? Don't we question the obvious any longer?! Shouldn't our US Government have been regulating situations such as these and our recent "economic meltdown"! And when someone or something goes wrong... what does our government do? That's right US Citizens! They point fingers every which way but the obvious direction! When did we start holding an entire country responsible for a single company or individuals mistake/blunder just because the individual or company who F'd up happens to be of native origin of that particular country?!! Who is ultimately responsible for the well being of the US Citizens and legalities of running this country? How many of you would have allowed such a decision to be made by a single company period!? Let's mend our US/UK bridge and lie blame where it should! On a single company and a single US President! Not an entire country of innocent people who have had NOTHING to do with a greedy and careless mistake! Show the UK we as Americans are too intelligent to lie blame on an entire country due to the actions of one company or individual from that country! I have raised the "Union Jack" along with "Old Glory" to show my support to the English people, in my attempt to drown out any loose/careless comment by our US Government.
This recent misunderstanding truly makes no sense at all! It's like saying the US is responsible for Mc Donald's and Mc Donald's is responsible for making the the world OBESE!
I wholeheartedly agree. The blame lies with the US govt inspectors who take bribes and gifts in exchange for looking the other way when they see safety violations and don't test the devices in place to prevent this kind of disaster.

God bless you my brother! I am moments away from posting a photo of Mr. Union Jack on my facebook profile. And I am glad you have a pure and open mind that is able to think clearly without allowing bullheaded American pride to cloud what we know to be true! Our government and politicians for as long as the US has been in existence has used lies and half truths to control the American people and maintain order by allowing and encouraging us to believe everything is rosy in the USA and it is always done the right way in a country that is the most wonderful in all the world... right? America is a state of mind and being American is a spirit that is UNTOUCHABLE! It's not a perfect government that cares for it's citizens and always does the right thing! Until the US people understand that they need to re-consider the entire corrupt governmental systems in place now, then, we may has well just close our eyes and continue to allow them to do what is right for the individual congressman and or politician... because it's no longer we the people, it has not become I the President! And so far over the past few years and many of our American Presidents throughout history have show us what they are capable of and apparently incapable of! If left to our current president all of our oceans will eventually be polluted! Since he has said himself there is not much he can do! This is essentially a matter for all International Governments! As it will eventually and ultimately effect the world as well! HELP!
